      8,000 is almost exactly what Texas Mile had whwn they were at Goliad. every run there was iffy to get whoaed down from 200 +
      Can be done though.

        the longest runway at Ellington is supposed to be just over 9000 feet but none of them look to have a lot of runoff beyond what they are.
        Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.

          yea, the longest is just over 9,000 feet, LOTS of grass around the runways, and still lots of real estate to the fences. parking and pit area, is more than adequate and the field is maybe 10 minutes from my house (depends on how many red lights i hit)
