The tv cable is definitely a problem, but I have the solution for it. I think it would be smarter to get the AOD out of the Lincoln and do a clutch pack rebuild and swap tailhousings (longer on the LSC), new converter, new whatever the cool thing is supposed to be servo, put it in with the 351. This one works okay enough to roll it around. I wish the LSC wasn't on a trailer at work. The city bitched before I had time to pull the steering column / trans / rear end. The 351 pan is on order, so the black car gets attention this weekend I guess.

Does anybody have a template or measurements on the rear package tray / spare wheel cover? This one is MIA.

Genius move of the week - intentionally parked it so close to fence that I had to get out passenger door. Passenger exterior door handle is broken. Going in through hatch... dumbass. lol.

This is a hatchback fos mustang, right Beags?

That is what the Cadistang is, and it seems to have all spare wheel cover stuff intact. Let me know EXACTLY what you need and I'll measure it out for you.
Of all the paths you take in life - make sure a few of them are dirt.

do you get the paper? With some registration / witness marks, I think it would be traceable with a sharpie on 4 big pieces. IIRC, they have some wierd cuts in them to accommodate the trim. I found the stock one at Latemodelrestoration.com, kinda pricey. I was gonna use the stuff they make pegboard out of.

I have a line on a running 89 fox I can get cheap - a bit rusty - but cheap - I may flip it or part it - depending on how things go - if I part it out - the entire interior is intact including original radio (not hooked up) gray cloth, even the cargo cover thing is behind the rear seats - it's all pretty dirty - but looks like it will clean up with some elbow grease.

Sure do! Right next to your Fiat...

It's in the driveway this week. I decided to put the LSC motor in it's stablemate pretty much as is so I can drive it, then I can turn this one into pro-jackstand.

I need to order clutch packs for the AOD and start thinking about a converter. For the first version, I'm going to stay reasonable. I have a Lightning F4te shortblock that looks usable as is. I was going to use a stroker crank but decided against it for the time being. I figure I can get it to run with this setup and then put it in the Lightning later.

so far, 3765. I have a set of 4.10's but I think I want 3.90's. I'll stick the 4.10's in there later, I want to see how far off the 3.27's are first. I ran this junk through a couple of simulators and thinking 11's may not be completely out of the question with cheap parts.

The good news is all of this crap is already laying in a pile here. I was torn on this vs. a 11:1 342 with a small solid roller and funnel web, but since I have the headers for the 351 and the cam compliments the head/engine setup pretty well, I'll do that first. It's only 9.6:1 and the cam is 224* intake, 112 LSA so I think it may even run on regular. EA Pro is showing 412/412 hp/tq and the curve is very flat so it should be a good torquey fun little mill.

yeah, it was a joke. You should see the looks I'm getting from Monica about making her running car into a non-running car.

I forgot the oil pan / pickup / pump

160.00 (ouch - find one out of a Crown Vic at the yard if you can!)

                    3925.00

It sure seems like a complete waste of these heads some how... oh well. V2 will have something to wake it up.

Have you thought about getting an explorer long block, tossing your e-cam in it, and hitting it with a 100 shot? Should put you in the 12's...
