2250 for a "built" aod, one piece hardened input, hardened hd output, 10" billet converter tuned to my cam (ie, about 2300-2500) I asked for something that would handle 700 plus foot pounds, and the guy has the reputation for delivering... several 800hp turbo cars running around here with his trans in them holding up just fine.

Or me the last trans i bought off craigslist was a $400 t5 that came with everything (the flywheel was shot)to swap out an auto. I paid $1250 for a little better than stock rebuild on an AOD back in '04 but that included removal and replacementComment

this thing drives scary as hell. Can't wait. I think it needs a roll cage just to drive to the grocery store. The right rear tire, I noticed, has a lovely bit of tread separation and Discount doesn't have the DR's yet. I'm on the fence about waiting v. getting some rubber under it so I can see how truly scary it is. When they pulled the carpet, they didn't bolt the seats back down well so I'm guessing just doing that will make it feel a lot tighter. lmfao - holy crap, I need to get right with my higher power before I take this thing anywhere! Click for bigger pictures, but this is the "holy" floor. I don't think it needs panels, I think I will roll a few beads into some replacement steel later. It's not affecting the strenght I don't think ? Thoughts?
