#%$& I have to work. But, I'm gearing up for the Fall colors tour. The Vette's been itching for a road trip. Kids staying home can't fit 3 ......darn it.
for real though first time without them, ever!

Been taking it easy the last couple of days I had to be admitted in the hospital Wednesday night with chest pain again the best thier tests can tell them right now is I had a blood clot in my heart. I was suspose to be leaving Saturday for vacation I will have to wait till Wednesday because I have to go back to see the doc on Tuesday for more test and then again in two weeks.

Went over to the Greenfield, Iowa swap meet today. One of my favorites even though it is 2-1/2 hours one way for us. Saw this pulling in as we were walking around.

Stopped to check out the new work on the Freedom Rock on our way back to Iinterstate 80. Checked out the new work & learned a few things. Bubba spends 2-3weeks time every May repainting the designs on the rock. Except the helicopter in the Vietnam scene. That has had veterans ashes mixed into the paint so he will never paint over it. He also did a painting of the Sullivan brothers, the five brothers from Iowa that died in the sinking of the USS Juneau during WWII & a painting of the Tomb of the Unknowns. That picture came out a little spooky because of the way that the sunlight was hitting the rock.
