Let us know how the 55 does. Shows how little I know. I would have thought it would go lean with stock injectors trying to keep up with a 240 shot! You increase the fuel pressure?

I love this car. It's a good example of using torque, tighten up the converter hit it with a bigger shot and it goes quicker. Good job!

i love the looks on everyones faces after i make a pass. it has 2.5 exhst and flowmasters along with the stock cam, it purrs like a kitten idleing around 700 rpms smooth. been driving it to work this week too. still has over half tank of gas. and i filled it before i raced it last time. im convinced itll knock down 24.5 mpg if i dont race it.

Now the "don't knows" will argue with the "knows" that the car is a 66!...
                        Congrats on the ink!

Saw that article and thought that was you. Nice job on building such a simple combo. What do you know? Hot rodding doesn't have to break the bank after all.

How did you deal with the oddball reverse cooling of the LT1? Was there
much extra work compared to a "normal" SBC swap?
