car heavy, you sayOriginally posted by Russell View PostThanks SBG! we are kind of car heavy right now picked up the Suburban and the Rogue is not selling so The drive way is pretty full. She has a huge aversion to RUST my Capri is siting on the car trailer behind the shop under a cover, she can not see it but she fills bad for our neighbor Steve who can see it.... All this is the reason the Shop project is back on the burner, need more space to park!
I am thinking about listing the Cummins for sale, I think its going to cost me money so I might see if someone else wants it more than me.

this isn't all of them - there's a BMW as well... I should thin the herd by sending the pickup and the C3 away. I also should watch what I eat...
and yesterday, one of our dogs got out by jumping from a log and across the fence. So I figured I'd push the log out of the way with my Case (bobcat). I got stuck, so I winched it out with the pickup... and thus pointed out why I continue to hesitate about sending the truck away... it's too useful.
I'm not helping, am I?

Took the 89 and got it inspected, Wet sanded some on the 98 and cleaned up a little bit in the shop. Next week I hope to switch the tags from the 89 to the 98.Comment

I really enjoyed sanding on the car last Saturday, hopfully I will be able to do some more this weekend. On the driver side rear quarter there is a primer spot that alread had a guide coat from the PO. I was able to take it down so it was all one color. The guide coat really helps with the when to stop sanding. A 12" block really shows the low spots maybe more than I wanted. There is a dent in the quarter I can feel it on the inside. I have a cheap hammer dolly set I am thinking about bumping. In the back of my mind I know I am going to make it worse. Here is an old pic will try to get some new ones this weekend.

The stomach bug has bitten my household so not much of any thing got done today. I did manage to make it out to the shop and pull a couple maypops and replace them with CL wheels. I took this picture of the area I am thinking about bumping. Pic is to big will have to use photobucketComment

Got the 98 inspected and the tags and insurance moved from the 89. I think something is wrong with the trans. Something is making a loud sound. I think it is bearing or gear. Going down the road its OK in N but if in gear under power or decell its loud. Very very light throttle is almost goes away. Drained the fluid it's full of metal. What would you do?Comment

Yes has all gears. Trans came from CL it is a cobra trans so I had to have the tail shaft from the busted trans put on the cobra one. After I jacked up the shift rods had a guy takeit apart and reasemble with old tail shaft. He said it looked good inside while it was a partComment

Don't remember any quite gears. Pretty sure it went away with clutch in.Comment

Disregard if you have metal in your liquidOriginally posted by Deaf BobCan you lift your clutch pedal?? Maybe throwout bearing is bad? My flatbed needs a bump on the bottom of the pedal to get the throwout bearing away from the pressure plate... Otherwise it is fine.. It makes noise my passengers can hear, I cannot hear or feel it, when I bump the pedal, they say it goes away.. ..
