John, I am sure you did it the right way and degreeded the cam... How far have you seen one come in out of specs? You advanced yours 4* I was thinking about retarding my E cam 4* in my 79 capri to try to get some more top end. I don't have the tools to degree a cam so I was going to stick it in there and say a little prayer. I am sure my stock compression ratio is less than optimal. I am guessing you still have the X cam? So our motors are completely diffrent other than being sbf. I am assuming you care about low end because yours is a street / strip car? I don't care about low end b/c I think I can get it rolling push is clutch floor it rev it to the moon dump clutch and spin (open rear street tires) through the low end.

for pretty cheap. I "only" (for right now) want to go 139.9999 and set a few records. So I think I am pretty close, just need a little more (I guess 10-20 hp) I am just looking for 20 cheap HP is that to much to ask
That kit is cool, and in a pinch you can use windsheild washer fluid with it.
