The boys came over and started pulling things apart. Found the issue with the rough running, spark plug wire burnt almost clean through. They started the turbo swap, but ran out of gas. I remember the days of staying up until 3:00 am, maybe they'll be more productive next weekend.

I think I'll try posting again, I've made several replies and they don't seem to stick as the new programming is fiddled with.

Keeping the minivan. Its not just a minivan, its a BEATER minivan. There is a distinction. A minivan is kept nice, the wife wants you to vacuum it out and haul around people in a reputable fashion. I'm not interested in that kind of minivan.

A BEATER minivan ("BM") is a whole 'nother animal. The BM can be taken to Bonneville and one does not worry about it rotting to death...cause who cares! A BM can take lumber, PVC for irrigation and other building materials cause...who cares! A BM can haul grain for the largest termites on earth (horses) and bundles of shavings for said termites cause...who cares! It can haul engines, transmissions, axles, car parts, automotive fluids, etc, without someone stealing them. It has a lower lift height than a pickup, and you don't worry about the associated smells cause...who cares!! It can be scratched, dented, left unclean, lent to others with dubious records of automotive chicanery cause...who cares. It makes mother's hide their children, and people with nice modes of transportation stay in their lanes.

A BM is already a pile. And for my way of life...perfect.

I have a right of first refusal when he chooses to sell, and the ability to borrow it.

I'm looking forward to getting the smaller turbo on it this weekend. It should be fun.

                            Its RUNNING!!!

I have to figure out how to get the video off my new iphone (piece of crap) and post it here.

Apparently we had the wrong injector driver. With the correct one, it pretty much fired up. MAN that was great.

Now to finish it up and get it back on the track.
