No 2.9l cylinder head sightings yet.

Perhaps, just perhaps, the Red Furd may get some loving this holiday period.

    Just saying.

I know, I know... you'd rather push your Ford than drive a Chevy. Seems to me, though, that (just like if environmentalists hugged loggers, they'd stop hugging trees) you already have plenty of Fords that you're pushing - perhaps if you started driving a car, you'd see the logic of my suggestions?

Sorry, I'm hyperventilating from pushing my Ford and can only see stars. Your logic, not so much.

EFI 302 + 2.9l wiring harness (with a couple of extra injector connectors spliced in) + 88 (or so) truck efi batch fire computer = very simple v8 ranger conversion...... Oopsie. You're in California.

              Never mind.

                  Yeehawww, still no 2.9 heads.

Soooooo, before we construct we must

Clean out the garage. No place to even walk. I need to clean up all the old projects so that I can start the new (?, restarted, old rehashed, pick a term) one.

Watch this spiral out of control. (the garage equivalent of "here, hold my beer")

what do you mean? It spiraled like a tap root when you brought up tre... uhhh... arbor work, much less your derelict project!

does Cali do visuals on 25 year old cars? Texas stops the emissions test on an antique. I liked BBR's idea. I have an 88 Speed Density computer you're welcome to. If my truck ever sees concrete again, it'll be diesel powered.

In NC it has to be 35 years old to be an antique and inspection exempt. I guess its better than nothing, inspection laws here are very restrictive.

Full inspection and smog on anything newer than '74. Sucks.

What an absolute cluster F... of a 5 day holiday vacation. Landscaping, and none of it went right. Should have been a 4 hour job that turned into three days of disaster. Supply line was crushed, scabbed in supply line didn't work (doesn't help that my accident impaired memory can't remember what I did X number of years ago) Willow trees crushed other lines. I'm looking forward to going to work to rest.

Didn't do a damn thing on the Red Furd.

On the bright side, did stuff the engine in the racecar. So at least that happened.

Well, took Beag's advice and kicked the kid's Ranger out of the garage. I've been cleaning the garage and locating parts all morning long. Looks like a bunch of stuff got relocated to the barn, which means that a thorough cleaning will be necessary.

Anyone have some upholstery cleaning tips they want to share? Looks like we avoided a move in by the mouse family, but they are dirty and filthy.
