249.... First day back at work after taking Jade on a 1200 mile round trip to Missouri and back. As Jim mentioned, it was awesome to see so many old friends and BangShifters at the last cruise in of the year. Jade ran flawlessly the entire trip, averaging 15.0 miles to the gallon, cruising at 75 MPH the entire time turning 2300 RPM's. Not too shabby for a 613 horsepower big block and a car that's 45 years old......
Unlike the Power Tour, I never once had to turn a wrench on her, mechanically, so that was awesome!!!sigpic

Ed, Thanks for the kind words. We have over 215 cars registered so far and at least 12 more promised to come.
And I just sent Dave the Bartender another PM. SO if anyone talks to Dave tell him he has a PM..Florida was great but I don't know how you Floridians do it with the humidity..I sweat like a pig there.
And Dannie are you spending the night in Canyon Lake? If you are I have an extra ticket for the dinner dance with live band. You can be my date..
I just love my Hot Rods.

Andrew, I redid the wiring under the hood and installed the new fans. Took about three hours of running for her to smoke the VR in the alternator. I need to update it anyway, as it's a 110 amp and between the fans and the hydrogen that's 75-85 amps alone. So I am upgrading to a 200 amp alternator. I used junction blocks throughout under the hood and ran everything through relays. I think the issues are just about over with.Power Tour 2009, 2010, 2011

Got back started on the Torino tonight fixing my screw up on the top (I need my butt kicked for this).
