Ha! We all know you have a small trailer and a hitch.......plenty of room for skis/boots/poles/etc.
Whether you can or can't, you are usually right.<a href=http://www.bangshift.com/forum/image.php?type=sigpic&userid=1712&dateline=1303310375 target=_blank>http://www.bangshift.com/forum/image...ine=1303310375</a>

Fiddled with it some at lunch today. I decided to move the temp gauge sender off the top of the waterneck and down to a position on the intake manifold itself. I also put the Moroso in-line radiator cap (22lb) back in the upper hose. For no other reason than to have a fill point higher than the radiator mounted cap (16lb).

Pulley should be here tomorrow. Can't wait to get it on the car.
    Thanks.

These are the stock 71 style block mounts. Note they are asymetric, by swapping side to side you get almost an inch of engine set back. Hilarity ensues when you have to rework headers.

This is my home made frame mount which uses the stock rubber sandwich motor mount. The white lines show the orginal position and shape. The net is I could drop the engne down and inch and move it back almost another full inch. Fortunatly I did all thses things at the same time so I only reworked the headers once. Then built a new set for the A -460 heads.

If I end up going Fox I will likely go with an Afco k-member and fabricate from there unless the subject vehicle already has one.

Oddly enough a big benefit of the BBC exhaust port flange on the A-460 head is that headers are off the shelf, with more choices of tube size etc. for BBC/Fox combinations and cheaper than BBF/Fox headers.

Also had to do this: make lower cross member removable and offset.

Fortunately for me I'll never attain rank of perfectionist so I'll be firmly locked into hack status

Loooool. We're not far from the slopes in New Mexico. Been skiing since I was a kid. It snowed on us all day long. Makes for a long day with the kiddos sometimes.

Oh and no ten gallon hats in sight!!
