about 6:00 saturday evening......left that morning around 08:00.....ran into a few traffic jams and one serious wreck....after that decided to get off at Buford took Hwy 20 which leads to Rome GA then to home.....

Left Lar's house about 9 last night got in at 1 am this morning. Been sorting stuff out and yard work. We have our son and soon to be daughter in law folks coming over tomorrow for a family get together.
Retirement is better than I thought! -
Made it in around 6:30 pm today. Terrible traffic around and in Atlanta but we made it, 2546 miles, a little short compared to some past HRPT's. Had a great time as always, thanks everyone!Pt 2010, Long Haul 2011,12,13,14,15,16,17, 18, 19, 23

After all the sweat, all the miles and over a week on the road for the Tour, I felt like I deserved a treat. Can’’t drive through the Deep South without picking up a little Moonshine! Sugarland’s Shine Appalachian Apple Pie Moonshine and Dark Chocolate Coffee Cream Liqueur Sippin Cream. Some Sugar Tit Strawberry Moonshine and some Ole Smokey Tennessee Mango Habanero Whiskey. Made it home a little after 8:00 today. Went to Lar's party last night had a great time. One last parking lot gathering at the hotel last night before heading home this morning.

Left Mooresville at 6:20am cst this morning, And pulled in the driveway in Wisc. Dells at 9:03pm cst. 14hrs 43 minutes. Only stopped for fuel, minor traffic back up at the West Virginia I77 tunnel/construction. The rest was pretty smooth.

Left Charlotte at 7:00 am Saturday morning. 1100 miles later got home at 1:30 Sunday morning. 3455 mile round trip and got lucky with only one burned out brake bulb and also lost a tail light socket that I had to replace.1964 Chevelle

A little after midnight Friday night. I was determined to sleep in my own bed... I ended up taking a shower and "watching a few minutes of TV" while my hair dried, and passed out in my chair.
