I saw this on facebook this morning:

Made it home finally tonight, 4 days from Bowling Green KY, to the Oregon Coast, 6025 miles total! Was a great trip, and got to meet some great people. Hope to do Power Tour for a third time some day!

Good to see you guys again. You should consider doing Northeast Rod Run sometime. Just as much fun and a lot less cars.

We were thinking about it last year, I like the idea of going in the early fall but I used up most of my vacation time this year so we're out this year

My calculations before leaving were that I would be slightly over 5,000 miles for the whole trip. After taking side trips and going to see different sights along the way, my total trip was 5,828.5 miles.

I just got back to my starting point, my home, Chevy Chase, Md. At the end of the tour I left Bowling Green and headed to Atlanta for a week, then drove up the east coast to Delaware to our beach home for a month, now home. 4281 miles.

6 thousand, 3 hundred, 18 miles round trip. All the way from Sultan, WA to KC, Missouri for 2047 miles. On the tour clicking off 1457 miles. Then headed back home for another 2814 miles. Had around 15 miles to the gallon on the ol' girl. While the price for premium gas is $3.19 a gallon in socialist Washtington state it is a LOT less in the midwest !

Probably even worse than that in Seattle? (They gotta' pay for that $15 minimum some way)
