We got the ceiling all taped back up. Started the second coat today and ran out of mud again. I got most of the walls done with the second coat I still have to do the ceiling with the second coat. I'm going to start sanding tomorrow night. Mud is like primer, a necessary evil. You pay for it, you work to put it on, then you work to sand it off, then you throw most of it away.

I used one of these when we finished the basement in our last house - about 95% dust free. Around $50.00 at Home Depot - uses your shop-vac.

We got the second coat of mud sanded today on the walls going to put the top coat on tomorrow and start sanding the first coat on the ceiling. Hopefully I can get a second coat on the ceiling as well. Got the second coat sanded on the walls and ceiliñg and third coat put on. Got the drywall all done primed and painted I need to put one more coat on the walls tomorrow and that part will be done. Got most of my lighting put back in I still have a few more to add once I get the cabinets in. Hoping to get started on that this week the upper cabinets anyway. Once I get them up I will start on the floor. Ordered me a set of cabinet clamps I think they will be a big help.
