Strange is doing their best to talk me out of running their 40 spline gun drilled axles on my car. Question fellow drag weekers, has anyone ever broken a Strange 40 spline gun drilled axle on Drag Week? The car (loaded up for Drag Week) will be about 3700 pounds and running a 275/60/15 street tire when going from track to track...

well if you don't find out i will. i just bought a set to replace my 35 splines. strange had a set on clearance that were gun drilled and and have light flanges. the 35 spline i had ran two drag weeks but they are all twisted up now.
