Im working on my junk now.. getting ready to cut some tubing on
the chassis so I can pull the tailshaft off the trans(I cant pull it
without doing some cutting) to change or free up the governor..
it doesnt like to up shift.. or down shift... if I didnt cut a few tubes
to get at it (the drive shaft loop) I would have to pull the engine/trans
together to get at it.. thats what you get when you build small cars

I have never been on DW but I follow along on live feed every year, and to my knowledge nobody has been turned away yet. If I don't make registration my plan is to show up and hope for the best.

To my knowledge nobody that showed up was ever turned away, so yes, everyone who showed up always "got lucky". Last year (2015) they actually posted on the Hot Rod FB page there were still ~30 openings the night before registration if anyone else wanted to come on down. Of the 350 preregistered, 301 actually started on day 1. With the regional Drag Weekends and RMRW, I suspect it will be easier than ever to get into Dragweek 2016.
