  • my COE and truck projects

I have a few project vehicles most are trucks,
the only one that I have on the road right now is the 40 dodge PU that we call Squattie,
I moved the fenders up on the body and sectioned the nose,
it rides on a dodge D 50(Mitsubishi)chassis, it has 318/904 engine and trans.
I am building to to resemble a little pumper firetruck.
I am also doing a 35 dodge COE, there is no such thing so I am building one ;D
I also have a 42 dodge COE that is chopped 4" and secioned 4" that will be a car hauler.
and I have plans to build a Radical COE that will be based on a regular dodge truck
so it should set very low. here are some pics of them. Ron...

    here is Squattie:

    35 COE

42 COE , its now on a 1 ton chassis:

Radical COE, it will have a supercharged 440 in the middel:

Re: my COE and truck projects

The folks from Maine bring a COE sometimes for a tow vehicle (Ford I think). It's WAY cool. Good to see your stuff. What do you do in your spare time (like you have any)? Looks to me like all your hours are filled.

Re: my COE and truck projects

              Thanks guys,
the head lights on Squattie are between the hood and the top of the fender
and I also have a set in the first grill area, That is the big question when i park it at a show.
              where are the head lights???

the next COE that i am building is going to be a COE pick up and the one after that will be a car hauler.
if you check out my "fleet cars" pics you can see what order i want to get them done.
sometimes the order changes(check the link below)

I forgot to post the very next one that i am building(my mind is always working on the 4 or 5th car down the road)
              Yes its a sickness ;D
its a 40 dodge cab with a 41 willys nose on it to be my racecar.
              it will have a 440 stroker(493ci)race 727 and a 4.10Dana rearend with ladder bars.
I have a picture diary of the buildup on it too.
see that link below if you want to see how that one has gone so far.
thanks again guys for the nice comments. Ron...

WOW! Them there is some nice trucks.
Hauling ass & sucking gas are the best uses for a truck.

I have a 40's Dodge I chopped 4"....you have any pics of the doors? I cant quite nail the look with that weird flat.

Thanks again guys for the kind words.
NAS Backyard I think I might like it here, seams like some nice people...

AFFORDILLAC, I seen your coe post, that is a very cool and wild project.
I like that your going with the chevy COE body with the Caddy FWD setup and keeping all GM
maybe when you do the dodge COE it wil be dodge powered,(I can Hope)lol

I haven't done the doors yet but I hope to get back on to the racetruck project very soon
and then I will tackle the doors.

the radical COE will need some surgery when i make it.
I will have to make the fender go back into the door area and
make the door curve at the fender like the chevy and ford COE's do
it will have a blown 440 in the middle and 18" wide pro track tires.
I did this chopped van years ago and had a blown hemi in the middle
and I want to make the Radical COE like the van only with a old body.
we called it "Lil Too Much" so I want to do the COE
pearl yellow with orange, red and purple flames and call it "lil Too Much II" Ron....

                              Thanks Mopar Ron.
Hated givin up the Dodge, but it made more sense....at least I still have it!
Yeah the doors I chopped and haven't quite finished....that weird flat in the front part of the door frame is so many widths and sizes its alittle odd.
                              Good luck with yours!
