I'm finding that no vehicle is immune to failure if my name is on the title. hahaLife is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

seems to be a common theme on this entire website.... maybe it should be renamed the powertow site or better, there should be an explanation as to what "bang" refers to - the sound our cars make just before they go silent, most times right when they're shifted.Last edited by SuperBuickGuy; October 7, 2011, 05:10 AM.Doing it all wrong since 1966

the sun's not even up yet in Texas... did the rooster wake you up?
I'm probably the latest tow victim, and it's funny that I am looking at it with vengeance in my eyes. Searching away on CL to make the evil thing that stranded me go away. I usually park a DD if it strands me. Zero tolerance. Out to pasture. This one gets a second chance, I must be getting soft.
Anything I touched with intent to "improve" gets lots of chances. Difference between a wife and a girlfriend ?Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.

personally, I blame the website - after all, in this age of no-responsibility (heck, it's always been that age) it couldn't possibly our fault - rather it's the evil car corporations who hire Bruab to break our cars by making a website about broken cars. It all makes sense nowLast edited by SuperBuickGuy; October 7, 2011, 06:08 AM.Doing it all wrong since 1966

Not yet.
I *did* just get an invoice through Paypal for the state sales tax for the valve body.... I purchased through Ebay and paid for it using PayPal. There was no condition stated in the Ebay ad regarding sales tax of any sort. I'm a little pissed about it. It's only $21, but it's MY $21, dang it. If I was not in a time crunch, I'd tell him to pound sand and do something else.
I sure hope his product lives up to it's reputation, otherwise I am going to be one unhappy individual.Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.
