just a lil eyecandy for superbuick,
since he had me all dolled up in a coconut
bra, a grass skirt, fruit basket hat and an
'i love lucy' accent....

then he suggested spandex.

be carefull what ya wish for, ya just might get it...
that was just an example. i may have to take an
actual selfie like that if things keep spiraling downward, hah hah.

im almost done with my month of indentured servitude in maui, when i go home
im going to start assembling the 9" ford and look at swapping it under the 'bel.

plans are the 4ft ladders and floaters for the leafs. so my newest question is--
do i run the ladders parallel or triangulate them? strictly for better street
manners and driveability. the rear of ladders will be welded, front has giant
1" thru bolt heims.

the ladders will locate the axle front to rear, leafs will hold up weight of car
and locate left/right. the leaf floaters (alstons) are so the leafs & ladders dont
"fight each other" and bind up as they swing through different arcs....

heres the finished shift knob--an old lead crystal perfume bottle,
filled with 2 ton epoxy, drilled and tapped. all by hand, dont got
no drill press. sure wish we did though! im going to try make
matching miniature ones for the air cleaner hold downs next, tho
they will be acrylic not glass....

scored some jeep CJ buckets (brand new ) for free, so the bench got
chucked near the pool. pulled the front bumper off, lookin good.
gonna replace with vw bug " T bar" bumpers and a set of tow tabs
on a "C" channel crossbar.

also got the 12 bolt home on the trailer (3.73/posi/steel axle) and
scored a set of 15x8.5 superior slotted mags for the rear, free also.

slowly but surely...(shirley?!?!!)
