Picture is from 2001 (17 years ago - how did that happen?) Car was an unmolested original one-owner '68 RS 327/PG car parked in local barn since late 80's. I went after a '68 Beetle and came home with this instead. Wife was surprised with the funny looking Bug. Cleaned it up extensively, got it running, drove it some and sold it around 2010-ish to help fund building a cabin near the sand dunes. There is a thread on here somewhere on it, actually made the front page too.

Look what I brought home yesterday. After putting around town for a couple hours then taking the wife and daughter to the local cruise night in it, I had to give it back to the owner.
As Batman once said in a movie: Can you drive a stick? Flathead V-12, dual ignition system, dual carbs. No power steering,
The Highway Patrol was friendly but warned me that if I used those lights and siren, I'd get a helluva ticket.

My brother's 1977 850 Norton Commando.
He restored it many years ago and rode it seldom...the brakes don't inspire confidence to go fast.
He's had plenty of other bikes to do that.
