the siberian haze is not a filter.. it is actual photo.

it intensified as i rolled into bangor maine. could be sea smoke off the penobscot on steroids.

        yep.
        looking forward to it.

see a chance for an inch of snow on monday... but that doesn't stop bangor maine.
we''ll have to wait and see.

Talked to a niece that lives there, she is up here visiting.
going to meet up with them too, they know some places to go.

less than 36 hours to go now..
it is 6 below wind howling.

in fact it has been hovering there for more than 48 hours.

        all day, all night..

that haze is famous... it is a very arctic trait.
old Russia has first recordings of it.

that is why I call it the siberian haze.
I guess it is the sky after it fell down to the ground.

I want the wheels first. Then we'll go for the for the paint job, that texture. We've already got the "shape," we only need the texture.

                big old dodge.

the day I left was hands deep in frozen power steering (aftermarket aftercooler filter failed.)

too many days of arctic. 8f on the 14th day did it in.
The aircraft flight was very satisfying...
                just 3 hours something.

my last airplane rides was enslaved to a screaming kc135e that went to junk ten years ago..it has been 21 years for me.

in just two days, I am the darker complexion I come from.

                9 days to go.
                9pm and 68F..door is open.

                      • glad to get a photo on from my sebring adventure, before forum swap.

drove the rental turbo ford excursion (freakishly hauls ass)
from orlando to sebring. Nice ride.
                        all by myself.
every degree beyond 80 it gained heading south had me thinking I was driving to heaven.

this photo simply showed up first. my tiny lap top is annoying to my hands.
unbiased in other words. I was actually listening for the american v8s (they did come through - incredibly)
finally got to hear some of the monster noises so many talk about.

started with little cars practicing, and went all the way to 5 pm with the big dogs.
the corvette gets my vote.. that long legged tall decked sound making it seem easy.

anyway, on my tiny computer, it will be next week before I organize it and get photos good enough (I need my big computer -its 1556 miles away)

if a bangshift editor wants to do something my january sebring pile, You can have it.
                        camera is slt a35 sony.
                        that place never sleeps.

I'd like to thank the sebring people for letting me just drive right out to the fence in any old spot and have my way with the camera. I did not expect that.. I am grateful, fulfilled a daydream.

                        one more for fun.
