Ten years ago at about this time (9:30 or so) I was in the heart cath lab at the University of Michigan Hospitals having stents installed. Blessed relief as the pressure was removed and the vice was removed from my chest.
So here I am, 10 years later and kickin'. Now running on 3/4 of a heart but doing fun stuff and hanging with you guys.
When I think of all the blessings of the past 10 years it's impossible to imagine what I would have missed. The little Grands (the two older ones were already born by then), 10 more great years with ME, all of my LSR experiences, all of my BS experiences, the trip to CA to get the Avanti - all of it would never have happened, at least in my awareness. I am truly a lucky man.
So thanks all for your friendship. Here's to 10 more!
