I"ll post a paint drawing of my truck...the catch is that my son made it when he was four. It still looks better than anything I could do now.

            start.. run.. mspaint

Squirrel's version is more involved, expensive, messy, and fun... but it might make you cry too.

it's not expensive. I got windows 1.01 for free, over the interwebs, it's a very small download (fits on a single 1.44m floppy I think)

edit: nope, it's 1.6m for the zip file.

The PAINT.EXE file is 88 kilobytes. That's a small piece of software!

100 times that in ms runtime files needed.

16 bit something I presume.. I wonder if they acknowledge that anymore.

it's really not that bad, you can fit windows with a few of the apps on a single floppy, it just takes some work to make the floppy.

But I want to see some more cars drawn with PAINT, they're fun

Well since I don't have one of those Wintel-boxes, I gave it a shot with a similar program on a difference device, eventhough I was at a real disadvantage because I couldn't use one of those newfangled mouse-devices you are using on your hi-tech units....

But I'm sure in 30 years from now folks will look at this little program the same way we now look at MS Paint...
