if its not covered by the lava flow or burnt, once it cools down and is no
longer a threat they may get to go back--but thats directly at the discretion
of whomever is in charge of things like that.
they might say its too dangerous, theres still too much sulfur fumes, we
think the lava may start flowing again, etc....
a few years ago a guy got sued because when they lava started running
towards his house, he jumped in his dozer ( he owned a construction
company) and plowed a furrow to redirect the lava away from his home.
unfortunately by doing that he diverted it directly into his
neighbors property/house, so.............yeah. bummer. he got sued.
theres also the little old japanese lady who stopped the flow within

in a very limited market....which drives the price up EVEN MORE
