As do virtually all "reality TV" shows. If I stumble onto any car TV I usually can not take more than a few minutes. Especially something like "Street Outlaws". Too much scripting & acting.

...when you got a fast car, you think you've got everything.

I kinda dumb down the drama and the invented deadlines in my head to see the cars and the build.
Over here I don't get to see much in the "flesh"..
or the metal to be precise.
We have American vehicles over here but nothing
really modified....all stock due to legality laws to
      be street driven.

No point in bickering about which show or who
      who is the best.
I live in americas siberia, and feel the same.
I was at sebring not long ago, even the four banger miata class was keeping my ears and eyes glued to the practice sessions..

I understand how some keep what we all know as worthless, it is the environment that keeps the success.

builders, racers.. it is like real estate: location location location.

I still get cold enough to exceed 50 year running products, like starter solenoids on a gm (needs -20F maine version and colder to crack).
If I ever got the big launch to start something vehicle related, I'd still be silent, only to emerge in every vehicle known to man in more than one way.
I like the glory car shows.. it is all fantasy to me, like a comic book.

I'd be the hellon earth that drives my favorite stuff bankrupt or comply... two choices.

Sloppy Mechanics. It's the Nike of car shows... just do it. It's a bit of an acquired taste , but you would have a hard time arguing with the results.

Video of the life and times of sloppy mechanics. Project cars, drag racing, and general vehicular stupidity.

            Watching Counting Cars.....early morning until
            two o clock this afternoon.
The only thing I don't like is, the cars arrive and then get done.....we don't get to see some of the doing.

FWIW MToD has just added a bunch of Discovery shows to their streaming. Gas Monkey, Street Outlaws, a couple others.

I liked Counting Cars at the start, but it's become pretty repetitious - what annoys about them, I have Direct TV and the DVR seems to think I need to record that show. I don't need to record that show.... stupid computers

I just watched Skid Factory then Dirt Everyday. My new operating theory is I enjoy shows that show them building cool stuff. DED was okay, but I forwarded SF to friends.... after watching SF, thought "why am I sitting here, I have stuff to build".... DED? they drove to a frozen lake in a UTV.. woomeh.
