  • Used OEM vs. the Cheapest Aftermarket

    Howdy,

Which would you trust more? A lower mileage used OEM wheel bearing/hub assembly or a "white box" cheapest aftermarket unit from Rock Auto or Amazon? Cost is about the same, the used OEM being a few bucks more. I need something for mockup but it would be nice to actually use what I buy till the bank account refills for ~$130 a pop Timkens.

    Thanks

amazon and rockauto don't mess around with parts.

those assemblies may be updated silently.. epspecially federal mogul or world products. timken, all the other brands.

    oem gets old...outdone.

Lower mileage oem part . I would think it would be cheaper though . I don't like chinese suspension or steering parts .
