Lake Havasu City, Arizona will be in the mid 60's today (brrrr) and mid 40's at night by tomorrow night. Hey, thats chilly for us!

It's 33, windy and I'm still half asleep. Trying to wake up to go out and do the rest of the christmas shopping. Just been busy for the last 2 weeks with work and then after work trying to shop in the horde was crazy.

Rain. Flash Flood Watch. Rain. And also some rain. When It gets through raining, it's gonna rain some more.

And we'd like to have one item from Walmart. Not Christmas shopping stuff, just a household item. We even know where it is on the shelf, can walk straight up to it. But there's no "I'm Not Christmas Shopping Checkout Aisle," after parking a half mile away. Our bad, should have planned ahead in September.

this may be the year to abandon an apt. I have not done that since a car accident.


the trees already were laden with ice, crews were trimming as I headed south here yesterday.
I am south off the map.. will get much less ice apparently.
I am having trouble believing that.

Awoke this morning to frozen pipes, house sitting.
glad it came right out with a heat tape plugged in.
1F where I am must have been 10 below in lagrange.

Next week we'll see mid teens below zero.

37 and raining heavy. Went shopping for last minute food items and the wind is blowing pretty good, sure doesn't feel like Christmas.

we just had a CRAZY rain front for a couple days,
heavy flooding everywhere. on wednesday night
from midnight to midnight thursday (24 hours)
wailuku got 8 inches of rain... thats more in 24
hours than the rest of the year!

its also unusually cold, forecasts say we MIGHT actually
get snow at the tops of maunakea, maunaloa, and haleakala
above the 12K ft mark.
thats crazy.

Warm (predicted high of 70) and sunny - absolutely beautiful. On the other hand, the past couple of days were dreary and rainy. Some days ya win, some days you lose.....

I am in a spell that created my babble.

1F to ice storm.. dewpoint met at 32.00001F
I have not seen the wetness all around in my truck like that yet.. had it more than 2 years.
hard time starting, as if a steam bath rolling out from underhood when it did..
cold smoke went on for 90 minutes at 33F.
a garage would be nice about now.

the old subaru..not a chance in hell it would have started.
if a gmc gains this battle, there is hope.

going to find a way to stay in a city or local city until after new years.
that little town with the public housing building I am in has way to many dependents and not enough self sustaining.

I am drawing a line.

Santa was great to every one! We got snow yesterday so the kids get a white Christmas and not too cold or windy!
