Early big boat wagons are getting stronger in numbers at every show we go to. This '62, two-tone green, Chrysler Newport family hauler was just plain cool. How come were embarrassed to ride in these as kids?

-
If anyone needs an example of when GM was doing things right, all they have to do is check out this '57 Caddy.
-
-
Pink is almost acceptable on a Tri-5 Chevy. Why is that?
-
Newer chassis with PowerStroke motivation makes this one cool hauler. We want one.
-
Parked next to us was this oh so fine 71 Camaro z-28.
-
The photo can't do justice to the paint on this 34 Ford Roadster Pickup. The candy pearl Tangerine looked good enough to eat. I'm hungry. Where's the breakfast burrito vendor?
-
This '53 Buick Century Convertible was great, and ready for cruising.
-
-
-
The license plates said "ITSSCARY". We assume they are correct, but the tits are still on the slicks, so we want some proof.
-
Arias Hemis are the poop. We have lots of things this could go in.
-
-
5.0 with an AOD under stock early Falcon sheet metal. Very clean.
-
Nope, this '65 isn't Freiburger's "crew cab", although we thought so at first site. Note the lack of rust, and better paint.
-
-
Can you imagine the fun this would have been on a dirt track in the old days? We can.
-
Yes it has a blown Hemi in it. The rest is questionable. Wow.
-
-
-
The signage on this Delivery looks original. If not, it's one of the best fakes we have ever seen.
-
What happens when you have a scummy 65 Elcamino and a rusty 48 Studebaker lying around and too much time on your hands? Studamino!!! Wow.
-
Look closely and you can see the Elco parts sectioned off back here. The Elco's quarters were augmented by the Studey's fatness.
-

-
This duo was by the coolest of the whole show. The '46 Ford Woody wagon was pulling a 1950 travel trailer.
-
Check out the copper back splash in the little kitchen. The rest of the trailer was just as clean, and looked new.
-
We've been wanting an old travel trailer for some time, and this one is not helping us forget about finding one.
-
Barry White brought out several of his rides. This '71 Chevelle has a 6.0 liter LS1 motor with tons of very cool details. Barry was very nice to answer everyone's questions all day, but when we tried to convince him to take the Chevelle out on the autocross, his excuse was that it took too long to clean.
-
Besides the 401, 4 peed and retro cool Centerline wheels; the owner of this Gremlin clear coated the original paint in order to keep it shiney. The aged and cracked stripes will now look cool forever under the protective clear.
-
'51 Mercs are really rare. Hot rodded '51 Mercs are even rarer. Besides the wheels, this one looks completely stock until you open the hood.
-
Under the hood of the '51 Merc lies monster power by way of a stroked Ford 460.
-
Red Neck Log Home. Notice the wheel chair ramp. This bitchin' rolling cabin is owner by a gentleman confined to a chair with wheels. He didn't let that stop him from hitting the autocross several times. His best times was 1:31.543 which was enough to scare some competitors away.
-
We sneaked a peak inside the log cabin. Very cozy.
-
The for sale sign on this Dodge A100 Pickup said it was still running the factory 273 4 bbl, and 3 speed stick. We followed it into the show, and loved the little V8's rumble. The price kept getting lower, but not low enough for us.
-
This high riding '64 Chevelle Gasser was by far the cleanest at the show. Unlike the beater gassers cruising around all day, this one sat in the shade watching the parade of cars goi by.
-
Some of you might recognize this Barry White built Checker Marathon from his show "Wrecks to Riches". It's almost cool enough to make us want to drive a cab.
