For anyone that is going to stay Saturday night. I am thinking about looking at the Sheraton. It is conviently located near West Roads Mall, has a pool for the kids, should be pretty nice place. Flyer says show price $74 plus $5 for additional adult. Super 8 is very near the show at 50. There was mention of Days Inn on Miracle Hills Drive which is also very near the show. I have not recieved any comments back from the show people as far as hotel recommendations. Let me know your thoughts.......

Preregistration is not necessary but makes things pretty handy when you arrive.

OK, word has it, most are recommending the Sheraton and also to call the manager for the Pontiac Show rate as well as breakfast voucher. Here is what I recieved.

"The Sheraton is $74.00 + tax. If you call Robert Shull (sales manager) direct to book your room, he will include a free voucher for a full breakfast brunch. His direct line is 402-516-1252. We have been directing most people the the Sheraton. It is newly renovated."

I wasn't sure what you all were up to - Drag Racing Saturday during the day - then pre-registration and a free dinner(?) - and an ice cream cruise that night Saturday afternoon and evening. I'll have a hard time catching you guys - but I will be at the show Sunday for sure and listen to Jim Wangers - the Godfather of the GTO speak. He's darn good and these guys aren't going to be around forever.

The Westroads Mall is near where you are staying - they have a bunch of places like PF Changs, Cheescake Factory, Joe's CrabShack.
Johnny's Italian Steak House is at Village Pointe Shopping Centre (so is Jimmy Buffet's Cheeseburger in Paradise) at 168th. and Dodge
also Kona Grill & Firebird's.

Justin and I are coming, he has to work until 2PM. I may come earlier but don't know yet. Teri has a Bridal shower and party for our daughter that day so she will not be joining us. I would like to see some of the racing and make a lap at Mid America if it would work out. Time will tell more detail.......
