we'll make a note of the times Bob, but I'm sure we'll be talking before then. I was speaking to a friend last night that stayed at Marriott, and she said the view from the rooms there were amazing. She also said the hotel was really nice.
I think I'm going to book both for now and cancel one later. We might as well stay there too even though we're only 25 min away.

We stayed at the Marriott last time, it is AWESOME View of the Canadian Falls & a really nice hotel too.

For something different we are staying at the Hilton this time (well be some where on 22nd-32nd Floors, with a "Falls View"), looks like we might have a fireplace too.
Since I'm not sure of the weather, I figured since it has an enclosed tunnel to the Casino would work out if it was really nasty.

If you check on the Hotel's Site to see the layout of the rooms.
The Hilton Site to find the special (lower) rates (ie the over 50 rate) . If it matters to you. It is a pain hopping between the site though.

This might be too much work for some folks

I changed from rooms from a 1 King to 2 Queens since we are planning on bringing our daughter & grandson too, since we had 2 extra seats in the car and it did not cost anymore, maybe $10 CAD for them in the room.

We are getting 2 Bedroom - Deluxe Suites (Jacuzzi/Fireplace)

The King Room is very similar and they get a real bed instead of the folding couch.

I'm assuming yes since it is next to the Hilton.

I was wondering where that went. We drove the whole trip using a 1/2" deep well socket to connect the 5/8 hoses on the intercooler and it's still in there! I guess after the Power Tour I will have to install it before DW 2012, the 1/2" socket is restricting the flow.
My other Drag Week Macgyver was to cut up my new sheet metal battery box and used it for hose hangers, a heat sheild and metal washers to mount the 2 new trans coolers to the front grill.

We can't fit 3 Adults & 1 kid in a Camaro for a 6 hour drive, not to mention luggage. so for us that will be a no, but the car we are taking does have a rear spoiler

As much as I want to go to Niagara for my first time (I was actually planning on a trip there next Summer anyway), Hollie and myself are going to bailout of this trip.

We were already talking about a winter weekend getaway when this trip was originally mentioned (a bit of a Christmas present to each other). After much discussion we realized that we could almost pay for two night's lodging in Lake Placid, for just the price of what two passports would cost us. On top of that, I know the casinos would cost me a "little bit" more too. Just to much money to come up with on a short notice, so close to Christmas.

I know you guys (and girls) will be having fun in Niagara, but while you are all ripping it up over there, I will be riding a bobsled, and hopefully making a skeleton run, at the Olympic complex inbetween my partying and skiing Whiteface Mountain.

I won't be making the HRPT next year, but hopefully I won't have to wait until next October to see all of you again

It’s called Jingle all the Way. It’s a comedy/musical show put on during dinner. The same place does a show called “Oh Canada, eh” which pokes fun at Canadians. We’ve seen this a few times and it was really good. I haven’t seen the Christmas one yet but it’s supposed to be good.

I can find out if we can get tickets if you are interested.
