My brother had one just like it only it was red. It was badged "Cortina GT" but was just like it. It was really fast - 16 seconds in the quarter mile. Yep, just like it.

Looks like the result of a matingsession between a Fiero and a Pacer.

I only need to have two things then I would get that car. First, I need to find my winning lottery ticket and second I need to figure how to get the North Carolina DMV to let me register that awesome beast as a legal street car. (The first might be the easiest of the two!)

That is a flat azz crazy car. I'd love to have one.

Not a Cortina, Dan. 1966 is a mistake in the heading.

26 years old, it's perfect to register. Win the lotto, paint it ANY color than refrigerator white, and it's time to go screw with some heads...

You reffering to when it did kill people in the crowd when it was raced?

Still looks like a blast and I'd love to try to take it up Pike's Peak!

that would be fun..but it can be done much cheaper.

those years were quite a shockwave through most companies. even subaru realized they needed to be manlier in their own future...

their own STI rally car is returning to the small hard running realm..last time this was seen was also the 80s.

I so love the facts of predicting the end of the EJ engine.. I so love the facts.

                      anyway..
for 110k that is some ford fans museum piece.. but don't step up with it. that'll get its ass handed back to it if they are lucky.

a real easy way to determine b rally 80s champs?

they still run in the classics and small town gatherings today.

I was teasing, Bob. For all those guys who hear "My Uncle had one just like your Road Runner but it was a Dodge and had 4 doors - had a 440 Hemi in it". You know the drill.

Depends on whether the skidpad is paved or gravel.

                            Very drool-worthy, in my mind.
