Dry Lakes Racers Australia meet 9-13 March 09

The DLRA (Dry Lakes Racers Australia) had their meet last week, here is a link to a report page:-

No I wasn't there so I can't tell you about it and I'm yet to get to a meeting.

Ask Keith T about the place, he's endured the trip out there. He and DF dragged their Camaro there a few years ago only to have the event canned

Wow, very cool stuff. It's interesting to see what LSR guys are building outside of the US. There are some very bitchin' cars in those photos.

While I really love all the LSR venues across the world, I'm wondering why no one has tried to get something going in Canada. I mean, my country is mostly uninhabited unused space, there's got to be a place that's nice and flat for a mile or two...[cough]The Prairies[/cough].

according to someone in victoria, (was there over the weekend) that thought of running cars at a beach somewhere around there. supposedly hard flat perfect beach for miles and miles and miles.
