Ok I'm throwing a wrench into this thread. Watched a show the other night on the Carpenter's, it was very informative and brought back a lot of their hits during the 70's. One thing I didn't know was they did their own back up vocals, and that Karen played the drums during all of those deep track songs. A great composer, her brother and her a set of vocals not to be repeated.
