Joey, how bout this. Before Drag Week Shannon was taking his car down the road on a trailer - all of a sudden he looks in the mirror and says "Chute's out! Chute's out!" We died laughing. ;D

Chute rides in the car till the track :D

Steve, it was marrige now or nothing!!!!!........so I chose the 5 year newer model :o

Dan I haven't got the rule book yet, could you briefly explain the new head restraint rule?

Wrong Dan. You'll want Dan Warner - or Keith. I know that basically the idea is to keep your head inside the car in the event of a rollover. A funny car style cage is OK, and most if not all seat makers (Kirkey, etc) are offering seat kits to put a brace just outside the helmet and keep your head from moving around. Hopefully Dan or Keith will check in and give you the straight poop. I don't have my book yet, either, but it's on the way.

If your fabrication skills warrant, make a helmet restraint
(think side-to-side) out of heavy gauge sheet metal and
1/2" square stock. That's what we're doing for May....
