    What are you complaining about ?

    Our car is northbound on Interstates, even as I type this, to have the motor pulled and replaced with a new build we have not even started yet !!

    The Buzz Bomb is ready except for coolant and a trip to the dyno. We'll see what Wayne (Wayne's Dyno in Jacksonville, NC) finds hiding in my conglomeration of parts. Also have a little paint work to do, but could run without doing that.

    Dan - You're too well prepared! I am building a new rear-engined modified roadster and hope to shake it down @ Maxton in June. Started on the chassis Feb. 9th! Am too dumb to know it can't be done.... Hope to steal a day from the build to hit the Hod Rod event on Saturday. vic

    Not THAT well prepared! Remember, I missed the entire year last year screwing around instead of fixing the car and racing it. So I'm really a year behind. Glad I pulled the wool over your eyes, though.

    The April meet is usually still a little cool, with some breezes.
    The averages for Maxton the first week in April are;

    High of 70 - 74F
    Overnight low of 45 - 49F

    Are we going to be graced with flip flops and camo shorts this year?
