    Over 3000 members,and app 20 posting.

    There seems to be some hundred that looks at the posts.What are the rest doing?.

    Do we scare people away.Why?.

    No interest in participiating.Why?

    Most hang around and lurk. Others post and occasionally speak up and
    participate. Some step right in.
    People also live busy lives, they will, and do come back and post.

    Scare folks off? Maybe those less car-centric folks.

    I've been a member of a few different clubs and organizations and it's always the same. Out of 100 people, 20 like to "do" and the others are just happy to "observe", maybe it's human nature.

    The ratio also means more will post, as it grows.

    I would think that those that really frequent the board will increase
    as well.

    8 days logged in, 57 posts, guess I do lots more reading, but when I have a question I make sure I can't find the answer on google, yahoo, or other search, first. I read the blogs, tech articles (learning from others), and look at photos (especially one photo thread lol).

    Some show up, and become members just to stake their claim to being a member of a forum.

    Some are lurkers that just like to read.

    Some like surfing and conversing online as opposed to watching TV(me).....time -killer 'til spring gets here(and it can't get here soon enough IMO).

    Not this site, but other sites are pretty brutal to someone who they perceive as being uninformed... so perhaps they are gun shy?
