Yeah, they sure do. I was so pissed when I got that news.. It was the straw that broke the camel's back. Of course though, BK contacted the original "builder" of the transmission and they gave them a totally different story. Imagine that?

Why would their builder say "Oh yeah, I half assed that one, I'm not surprised it's dead". 40 MILES on this tranny , and it's trash...

It's very difficult with those (small) pictures to see the broken grill:

As for the Bondo, every car has it.. And there's no evidence on that site of the mess that Jon found.. It was insane. Without Bondo, this car would have been a rolling frame. They hid it very well on the "rebuild" page.

This is the worst of the filler pics from the page..

Are you sure that's really a Hemi and not a small-block Chevy hand-formed in Bondo into an Elephant?

Well, the saga continues.. We just learned that the VIN tag was swapped and doesn't match any of the #'s on the car.. The Texas DOT is involved now.

The car sure looked good on the outside, very straight, beautiful paint. But beauty is only skin deep.

Holy crap. I'd find a lawyer QUICK, and maybe slap a lein or two on somebody's assets? What is the best recourse here?

Did those idiot shysters do ANYTHING at all correct or moral on this?

No, they didn't. From the (used) parts they put on this car to the hacked up body work, there wasn't ONE THING we looked at and said "Hey, this is nice!". Well, maybe the Strange rear end, but they got that delivered (and STILL opened up the cover on it for some reason!!).
