I don't use ear plugs... the theory being I'll hear something going wrong... ( stupid... but hearing is highly over rated )

My first one of these motors is a DZ 302 that was destroked by offset grinding a larger journal crank down .100 to make a 2.9 inch stroke...with a 4.045 bore... used a set of cast iron Dart 230's... and the damn thing was simply Fun... I only spun it 8200 normally... 298cu in.

The Rodeck is a 2.8 stroke 4.155 bore set up... pretty cool stuff... Kinsler with a Motec EFI gig... 2.99 cu in.
