BBR tech tip of the day:

EFI is very hard to tune when you run out of gas.

It was idling but would die when I hit the throttle.... took me a while to stick my head out and look at the FP gauge bouncing around 20 psi. LOL

Everything seems to be doing OK. Then out of nowhere the wideband is going lean and the car won't run for nothing. No matter how much you jack up the VE table it makes no difference. I've done it on more than one car. It usually happens after you pump all the gas into the oil pan. I was working on someone else's car once and he didn't tell me the gas gauge was broke. I pulled out the AEM computer in a Shoney's parking lot, stuck the factory computer back in and it still wouldn't run.

Back when I had my C4 Corvette, I found it would run out of gas about the point where the trip computer said I had 20 miles left to go.

I've managed to run out of gas many times without the aid of a computer...amazing!
