chad - DO IT.
Grab two throttle bodies and injectors, and a fuel pump, off a wrecked GSXR. Or possibly a polaris 4-stroke ATV.www.realtuners.com - catch the RealTuners Radio Podcast on Youtube, Facebook, iTunes, and anywhere else podcasts are distributed!Comment

Re: Help with Turbo selection for our minibike
ER AHH,, not that I have looked, but they have for about 75.00 or so, a brand new supercharger that looks like a mini procharger for SEADOO's and that would give you the grunt off the line a Mini Bike needs to kill someone. I also know that you can direct the air off the cooling fins into the carb and get a couple hundered RPM if you over ride the governer and get kicked out of the stock classes with it LOL2007 SBN/A Drag Week Winner & First only SBN/A Car in the 9's Till 2012

Re: Help with Turbo selection for our minibike
That'd be a very tiny smog pump pulley, or a very large crank pulley......I've wondered about that on those little go-karts at amusement parks, they never hired me so I never got to find out :'(Escaped on a technicality.Comment

Re: Help with Turbo selection for our minibike
I just sent an email to the turbo guys to see how much one of the little bitty ones are. I'm also going to do some research on the whole smog pump idea. I love that! I have some thoughts that might work along those lines as well. I'll keep you posted."A cross thread is better than a lock washer." Earl Lanning...My GrandpaComment

Re: Help with Turbo selection for our minibike
The Hubers use a smog pump as a vacuum pump for their little 4-bangers.
They are "OK" but I wouldn't expect one to survive as a blower for a minibike engine for very long. They're not meant for pressure, just volume, stick with the mini-turbo idea. They put little turbos on Kawasaki motorcycles for a while, you should be able to find something out there that's appropriate!

Re: Help with Turbo selection for our minibike
Smart cars have turbos, do an ebay search for smart car turbo, it will require some fabbing though, as the hot side is built into the manifold, but nothing a welder and a flange couldn't fix.Comment
