I actually got it out fairly easily since I had half of the stuff they were talking about disasembled anyway. I did manage to break 2 tab though doing it so I'm going to be repairing them tonight. I don't know anyone making your Centurion floorpans, I got lucky that 63-65 Rivieras are popular and they do make new pans. This car is going to be way nicer in some areas before Powertour and not as nice in other areas before then...
Randal, how did that exhaust system go together? Any tips or tricks, I just got mine for the camaro yesterday.
Easy as pie. I have the rear shocks off the car so when I jacked up the body the rear axle hung low and the rear pieces easily slid in. I used the OE mounting holes with the summit mounting kit brackets that I bent 90*. I do need to modify the rear brackets though as I think I can get the exhaust to clear the rear axle more (full suspension compression will rub a tad on the axle tubes right now, but I am doubting on normal driving it'll ever rub) and the mufflers to tuck up a bit higher. If I had long tube headers it would have probably bolted right on, but the flex tube works for now.
Cool thats what I was hoping for. I/m going to substitute a set of flowmasters for the mufflers that came with the kit. Are you gonna add a balance pipe?

thats what i did to my buddys nova the same exhaust but flows and a balance tube went together nice and sounds good you'l be happy
Balance pipe? Like an x or H pipe? I think I will add one eventually though. This exhaust is kind of a practice exhaust since there is no exhaust shop around here. I have some "plans" for an oddball exhaust system that might be counter productive but it'll have to be done by a professional shop. I'll probably keep most the pipe, change the mufflers if they don't sound deep enough or switch them out for resonators then do some funky-ness afterwards to make the car more pleasant on 500 mile drives.
I should be installing mine this weekend. I'm just gonna add an H to mine. It seems that when I put one on the chevelle it cut the droning at cruise speed. Didn't see a bit of difference on the 1320 tho......
i will say the mufflers that come with the kit are very deep sounding we put flows on my buddys nova and i liked the kit mufflers beter but thats just me

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK! Nothing seems to be going my way today. Every little thing I worked on today seemed to take two to three times longer than it should of. Then to top it off to end my day I put in the clutch pedal linkage and immediately could tell something wasn't right, it needed way to much adjustment and didn't feel right at all. Going back under the car it became apparent I put the throw out bearing in backward > The Trans has to come back out, grrrrr.
What I did get done today was I got oil to all sixteen rocker arms while priming the pump, did a preliminary brake bleed and got fluid to all wheels (pedal seems decent, but I need to do a better bleed and try with the vacuum booster). Got the front seat bolted in (took way longer than it should of), the power steering bolted in, distributor in (took way longer than it should of), half way done installing the rear shocks, I couldn't find the OE lower bolts and the ones I got turned out too short. Installed two of the eight subframe connector cross bolts. Damn this is a short list considering I was out there from 8am to 4:30pm. > Guess I'll pull the trans tomorrow.
I couldn't find the Alternator adjustment bracket either. I think I should look at a career change to Magician, everything I was using or needed today disappeared. I was going to drop the radiator in tomorrow morning, but instead Transmission fun! At least I think I can leave the bell housing and clutch set on.
