Nice! I still have 2 years to go. BTW, where's the HC tag? Only kidding.

          Hi,
The original owner/builder of the car only took the car to the track once. Opened the headers and let her rip. It went 11.19 at almost 129 mph. The car obviously did not hook up. I saw a film of it making the run and definitely needed tires. It is a fun ride for an old drag racer like myself. Reminds me of back in the day. It is a pump gas 509, 400 trans, 4:86 gear.
          Thanks much,
          Colonel1

            Hi Huskinhano,
HC tag huh!!!! Not a bad idea. Don't need one yet but maybe I could get one some how. That would be great to get those wide parking spots at the grocery store. Don't laugh. A couple of weeks ago we took it to the local grocery. Parked sideways out at the end of the lot. Got a lot of strange looks. One of the baggers loved it.

The tires hook up a lot better in the salt than in the snow. Welcome aboard

                      Hi all again,
Thanks for the comments. Keep them coming. HOWEVER I was hoping to see more photo's of the seniors rides. We have to show these young folks that being older is not a handicap in itself. It sure isn't in this household other than the dementia, wheel chairs, and the depends. Just kidding.
                      Thanks much,

Colonel1, very nice car I have been jonesing to build a tubbed Camaro like for like the last three years. I am not a big fan of 3rd gen's in stock trim. Tubbed and built like that I want one, very nice car.

Glad to see you came aboard.

I was going to ask a dumb question about why the fuel line looks like its connected to the front intake runner and the distributor until I figured out it just isn't hooked up (no more beers for me tonight)
