In my opinion, Carlin might be the funniest man to walk the earth.

I used to think so too but last time I saw him (ages ago) he seemed so bitter Like Titus. I don't like bitter comedy...except for Don Rickles.

Mike - you had a thread started on that poncho didn't ya? Was that weld through primer inside the door before you applied the patch panels? Nice work! Who cares if it's painted with spray cans - it's not rusty and it's painted, you can always go back later when you have more time money space and put a fancy base clear job on it - the hard work is done!

nah. no thread. and yes its weld thru primer that i got thru TCP tools... it affected the welds leaving a little "volcano" at each one...not impressed. I also painted my mailbox with the stuff about a yr ago, and its really rusty now... so everywhere I used that junk, I slathered it with rust-o-leum gloss black and went back to only welding bare metal. Oh - uhhhh.... the way that door bottom was done is not a way i would reccomend again... like i said - i'm an amatuer teaching myself and sometimes i learn a little slow.... but the other door turned out MUCH better. I lost my garage and am moving this week an next, but i got a new smaller garage and as i get time i will actually get to lay a little bondo over that metal work and make it look more acceptable, so if any of you see it in the parking lot at Wilmington next month - be gentle................




and to all the folks that gave compliments.... thankyou. Its gotta be the most satisfying project i've ever undertaken. i wanna do it agin - someone smack me silly please....
