Keeping with my tradition of posting airplane pictures in a car forum, I give you this:

Huge story behind it, but let me tell you, even with the windows open on the B-25 I was shooting from, 200mph wind and the noisy radials on the B-25...that Merlin still sounded sweet!
1970 Camaro RS - SOLD | 2000 Camaro SS - Traded in for a Hyundai...
        1966 Ford Thunderbird - SOLD | 1963 MGB, abandoned V8 project, FOR SALE/SCRAP

Heard a rumbling outside and my next door neighbor Bryan was loading this project trruck onto a trailer.

He said a lot of hotrod things about it - I think he said it's got a 350 with a street cam, it sure sounds good. And a blah-blah-9 million Z transmission that's broken. Won't do anything but first gear. So he's sending it off to get the transmission repaired.

So I called him a checkbook hortrodder, the scourge of all of you guys. And he said he could give less than a shit what anybody else thinks. He's done a lot of the work on the outside of the engine, the bolt-on stuff, and I can ID with that. That's all the heck I could do if in fact I did even did that much.

And I asked him if he was going to slap a coat of candy apple on it, and he said yeah, he was open to suggestions as to what color. I said canary yellow and he said NOPE, forget that suggestion.

So Nathan, let me get this straight - you have an LS powered Camaro (formerly blown Camaro), you take pictures of P-51s from the deck of a B-25.... seriously, you make it hard to like you....

Yeah, I was digging your photo until I read the B-25 part and then I instantly hated you. HA!

Man, that must have been a great day!

Don't forget my daily driver is a 2000 SS...

But yes, the B-25 makes a lovely photoship.

It was epic. I wish I could share more from the air to air portion of the weekend, but for good reasons, I can not yet.

This thing was parked at a gas station I drove by today, the left front tire was blown. I wonder if the 12,000 pound vehicle weight had something to do with it LOL

How can Limos like that possibly make back the money it cost to build before it's yesterday's news?

I finally saw an r/t charger, daily driver in appearance, dirty, black.. the label in red silver..right by my window.
As rare as the biggest baddest toughest machine you can think of (my locale is a paradox to the rest of the world) ..and now this.
I doubt I'll see one of those come strolling through.

I loved the sight of the dirty r/t. No garage queen. Brought back memories of my own beasts beaten daily.
