I have a little 87 subaru, likes lightning.. at least it used to. they made it recycle emissions until it was deadly. Just removed these yesterday. I kept the car wobbling, as the body was remaining elusive finding errors.. (the drama turned out to be a crack in the tunnel)

these tires are known as quite tough...called hakka p-liter something. I think i could poke a hole with my finger through 3 of the four. All dumpster bound. As you can see there is legal tread left. .but that swell makes it no good. A physics lesson was finding out, the tires were too small for the wheel sitting on the car.. a bearing machinist line was not met... created hell for themselves... the error? 1/4 of an american inch. amazing.

You got your money's worth judging by the dry rot....OH.. and here in Ohio, if ya got caught throwing those in a dumpster, they'd fine you a $1000.00.

Wally will be 10 months old tomorrow. He can be a handful sometimes but he is pretty darn cute.
These are from when we first got him.

He likes going for rides in the Mustang (Fox and the Hound ) and likes looking at pictures here at BS

dry rot is one year here.
like anything less than 16 gauge steel.

dumpster is figure of speech, I have endless piles I can take to local fill on a permit. ( got 6 going shortly). I did ask about ridding them at the tire places... 15 dollars a piece. insane.

some local dumps still make sense with a permit.

..and to give some credit where it is due.. those tires say hakka #1..age unknown and they are extinct. strangely as tough as an LT rated pickup tire.

I won't be using again, but not a bad choice for deeper offset wheels, maybe RWD, or normal AWD, small trucks, non-transverse. Shallow FWD kills them.

I can imagine it's quite hard to be mad at him, he looks like a ton of fun. That pic of him climbing out of the box is awesome, lol. Glad to hear that he's a BS regular.
