was looking thru some pictures last night and came across this...

this was the last time my dad ever drove a car. i always wanted pics of my car in a fresh snow fall. so i had my dad move it after a fresh snow in 2005. he was diagnosed with cancer in jan 2004 and died in july 2005. :'( :'(
funny part was i bought my lemans cause he had one at my age and the day that he moved mine, he got it stuck where it sits in the picture. if you look close you can see him in the driver seat. dad and i where very close so when i came across this pic i just had to share it.

A picture from work yesterday. 500 vertical feet down in the hole, 500ft more to dig!

I miss those open pit mines, only getting to see the sun for like 4 hours lol

Great pic, great car, and a wonderful story. My dad only drove my Impala once, but it was still an automatic at the time. Once he got used to the non power drum brakes, he got quite spirited in his driving.

Try working in a tunnell.... you never get to see the sun except for when you go in or come out. Oh and since we're burried into a mountain side, the sun goes behind the mountain at around 1300.
