I have?nt lived in the UK since October 1978, I went through
twelve bollock freezing years of winters in Germany.

Found this photo while digging through a drawer. It was taken on the way from MN to CA for the Hot Rod Power Tour 1999. It was late May, at an overnight stop in CO. Went to bed when ir was nice out, but woke up to this. News reports said you had to have snow tires or chains or you would be stopped (going east). We were going west thank goodness. Had to take a quick picture. I wonder if any other Prowlers have been in the snow? Sold it last year with 40,081 miles on it. Ya gotta use em'...

Global warming would be great but its all a Lie !
No salt on the roads anymore in the wintertime would be great
too but it will never happen .

They stopped salting the roads in Germany back in the early eighties to save the trees
which lined the streets.
They went to a grit mixture, which seemed to last longer than the salt.
