there's a much better series of pics of that same tractor pull mishap floating around out there, one where the head (and block) had just come off and you can see the pistons still in their normal position, it's eerie. 150+ psi will do that.

That bonneville pic is sweet --- holy cow - that really puts the space into perspective :o

I'm sure it's like the grand canyon - can't describe it - have to experience it.... it's on my someday list for sure.

I've been to Bonneville 13 or so years ago, and wow! even though no cars were there (must have been off season) The sights were unimaginable to a 13 year old!
