just watched some hot water poured from an aircraft tower.
crazy numbers. Learning cold, there is a safe one.. the safe one keeps moisture somehow.
if at 10F the barometer is high and humidity is down to 5% that is more deadly than 50 below in alaska.
Tricky stuff.
The dangerous one pops teeth , coagulates lungs to paste....
in seconds.
kinda like when a kc135 cracks open at 45000 feet and 550mph.
Hmm? Minus 47 but FEELS like minus 68, better grab a sweater.
I was this boys size when I sat in this same car 40 years ago.
I used to bang on hubcaps and pretend to wax it with my uncle (this little boys grandpa)
I don't talk much but only my own work. I was surrounded by different gurus. My dad was a trucker, but he knew the beetle. He drove one across the country in the mid 60s. The trend that followed still boggles my mind. He was some kinda hippy prophet and didn't know it.
My neighbor in rhode island used to take me and my brother along in his hot rods to car shows.
early 80s. That was my real kick off. I never let go of it.
sight and sounds, recognition for an outrageously curvy car with a v8, fancy paint. Always fun.
this is an impala, 283. Exactly factory.
68? I think.
the boy is my cousins son.
I turned 44 today, my aunt (wife of the uncle mentioned) wished a happy birthday.
I was 19 the last time I saw her. Heading off to the wild blue yonder enlistment for the war in 1991.
I drove my own car there when I was 16..about 500 miles round trip in a car I kept going myself.
my mother and aunt both were a bit overwhelmed by that. A long ride for a 50 dollar car.
facebook has been great. Jump right in, we all have relatives.

the death rate and fairy tales cannot kill the nature left behind.
Oh,
Drove up to a house near Encinitas (in the nicest neighborhood I've ever seen) to buy a 60s Kirby Vacuum, saw this house with 3 or 4 Studes on the way back
That looked like a Lark under the car cover
These are right by my new apartment
I think they like Mopars
And about 8 houses down, my favorite short lived automotive fad. Custom van!
I really need to replace my phone, theres a crack running across the lens from getting thrown from the Jeep in the accident, but hey, it survived!
Rumors of my demise by rollover have been greatly exaggerated.
On a serious note, how cool is this, for $4200? First year for the re-intro Z-28, last year for aluminum bumpers. Needs work, but I've seen worse. Probably So. Cal rust only: https://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/cto/5984391316.html
