If you go straight from here across the wet stuff you´ll go into France , Edit: not France Italy, and the Italian Alps, snow lives there....lots of it....
I could not imagine living in a place that has lots of lingering snow again....
Not enough here yet to shovel. Enough to make truck next to worthless starting out though. I backed up traffic badly at school dropoff this morning because I knew I couldn't pull out quickly.
I'll build a quick-n-dirty 2x6 box to keep them from sliding forwards.

Of all the paths you take in life - make sure a few of them are dirt.
Those trucks are incredibly light in the tail. I shaped a 2x10 to go across the back. There's pockets for it in the bed liner but all bed liners aren't created equal. It's good for keeping larger groceries and smaller car parts from flying around.
I shovel the driveway into the bed of my truck....free weight that lasts a little longer than needed and won't move around when I do juvenile things.
I put a short small pallet against the cab bulkhead then 7 x 40# bags of topsoil and 2 x 60# bags of sand on top of a standard size plastic pallet over the rear axle in my shortbed. Tossed in snowboots, hat and gloves in a bag and a flat shovel for good measure. Worked great last year haven't needed it yet this year so far. Front end feels a tad squirelly on the X-way in high winds, might be my imagination though. Tally-Ho !
updating an old 96 gmc.
iron oxide bulbs gone to the parts bin.
incredible improvement. I have never sat in an old chevy that did not bounce the volt gauge form end to the other just to turn on headlamps.
killed a very long running stereotyped monster.
hardly uses anything. Very bright. This is low beam. I annoyed no one on the way home..
